June 26, 1968

Well this is it - day of departure for home.  Get ready.  Nice breakfast.  Take pictures.  Pack our clothes and wait for cabby - busy traffic.  Tom gets one on the corner and away we go to the air terminal.  Shop a little.  Have lunch and a snack at tavern in the sky restaurant.  Coffee.  Wait.   Finally off at about 2:15 pm London time.  About 6:15 am chicago time.  Flight is to take approximately 8 hours and 15 minutes.  So here we are.  Just had refreshment and are waiting for dinner.  Flying at 35,000 feet!   Aduie until we holiday again.
